The Richmond Ambulance Authority is recognizing Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Awareness Week. CHD results when the heart, or blood vessels near the heart, don’t develop normally before birth. Research has given hope to millions of CHD babies who are now healthy adults. Listen to Tiffany’s heart wrenching story about her son’s CHD and how she had to use her knowledge of Infant CPR to save her son’s life which was threatened because of his CHD.
